What problem did you want to solve with Signitic?
“Before using Signitic, we spent a lot of time manually customizing email signatures, which resulted in inefficient use of our resources.
In addition, we have seen a constant demand to integrate our social networks into our email signatures. Faced with the expansion of our presence on these platforms, we wanted to strengthen the visibility of our partners.
However, we encountered ongoing challenges integrating social media icons into Outlook. These difficulties ranged from the simple insertion of icons as images to limitations such as including only one icon or difficulties in linking them all together.
We were also facing the classic problem of the Christmas banner that was still used in signatures in February. We needed to find a solution.
We wanted to take back control and start scheduling relevant campaigns at the right time and then make sure they also stop at a specific time.”
We had a very heterogeneous set of signatures. There were always a few people who added additional items manually for a more specific signature. It was a real chaos.
The signatures were set up once by our IT department for each new arrival, and then there was an occasional reminder to update the email signature.
Only with the use of Signitic that our signatures started to look professional.
It also created an unnecessary workload for our IT department, which naturally wanted to focus on other aspects of the business.
This is why we wanted to outsource signature management. Of course, signatures have a technical aspect, but beyond that, the design and visual identity of company signatures fall under the responsibility of the marketing department.
“We wanted to share certain messages or content more selectively in order to avoid too much dispersion.
For example, we wanted to send different content in our email signatures to a business partner and a cooperation partner. Their interests are very different.
Another example: communication between HR and candidates. HR also wants to send a different message to candidates instead of promoting the XYZ product.
We want to use our signatures as an advertising tool because we write a lot of emails that can be used for this purpose.
Our aim was to send targeted promotional campaigns using email signatures, but also to check all signatures.”
What has changed at TELE Haase with the introduction of Signitic?
On the one hand, we now have a much more professional, contemporary signature that contains important information such as our website link, social media icons and our logo. It reinforces our brand image.
Plus, we can now quickly update our messages.
Previously, integrating an additional signature banner especially for a trade show, lasting only three or four weeks, would have been nearly impossible.
Logistical difficulties would have made such a task unrealistic.
